Nought forever

The story centers on Dan Jeavons, who is shot, badly wounded, and on the run from a ruthless, deadly gang. He stumbles into the garden of Eva, a grieving mother desperately trying to come to terms with the suicide of her daughter. Both characters carry dark secrets and reasons to fear the other. As the night unfolds, Eva is faced with a profound moral dilemma: protect the bleeding Dan, or betray him to the people hunting him down.
