Z is an ordinary worker ant with big ideas and a general sense of insignificance who wants more out of life than digging tunnels. When he accidentally swaps places with a soldier ant and meets the rebellious Princess Bala, Z rises to the challenge. Ultimately, he becomes an unlikely hero who leads the entire worker ant colony in a revolution against conformity.
