Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter by Francesca Simon

In “Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter,” Henry encounters a particularly tough babysitter named Rabid Rebecca, who proves to be a challenge even for the notorious Henry. When his parents leave him and Peter in Rebecca’s care, Henry initially tries his usual tricks, but they don’t work on her. He then teams up with Peter to defeat her, even resorting to using spiders as a scare tactic. Ultimately, they manage to make Rebecca leave, deciding they won’t have her as a babysitter again. The book also includes other stories about Henry’s Halloween adventures, a disastrous car journey with his parents, and an encounter with Moody Margaret’s Secret Club
