Kamla and Kate

Kate is absolutely thrilled when Kamla moves onto her street. As the two girls become best friends, they learn about each other’s different ways of life. Together, they get up to all sorts of amusing and innocent mischief—such as leaving potato prints all over Kamla’s bedroom wallpaper, or dressing up in a beautiful sari and riding next to the May Queen in a carnival procession.
