Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace

Turmoil engulfs the Galactic Republic as the greedy Trade Federation blockades the peaceful planet of Naboo. Supreme Chancellor Valorum secretly dispatches Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, to resolve the conflict. During their escape, they are forced to land on the desert world of Tatooine. There, they meet a gifted young slave boy named Anakin Skywalker who is strong in the Force. The Jedi soon realize this seemingly localized dispute is the opening move of a larger, sinister plot masterminded by an ancient evil that threatens to topple the Republic.
