The Puppy Who Was Left Behind

The story follows a young girl named Anna and her new Irish Setter puppy, Fred. They go on a summer holiday to stay on her grandparents’ canal boat, but Fred struggles to get along with her grandparents’ grumpy black Labrador, Sunny. Feeling scared and overwhelmed, Fred escapes and runs away into the nearby woods. With the boat needing to move on that evening, a race begins to find the lost puppy before he is left behind for good
